Potash/Phosphate

Nearly all commercially mined potash deposits originate from evaporite deposits and contain potassium chloride (KCI), sodium chloride (NaCI) and other salt and clay minerals. Several salts have significant signatures in the NIR spectra and therefore potash is very well measurable with a SpectraFlow Analyzer, depending on the composition of the ore.

The analyzer can be used all over the production process: Directly after the mine; for the final product or for the waste material.

Apatite, the most predominant phosphate constituent, has an especially good signature in the NIR spectra. Therefore, Phosphate ore can also be measured very well with SpectraFlow throughout the production process.
